Our beloved husband, father, and brother, Duaine Clare Vigil, 27, passed away December 5, 1998 in Salt Lake City.He was born May 3, 1971 in Salt Lake City, Utah, the son of Joe Levi and Tila Martinez Vigil. He shared his life with his beloved Kristal Velarde. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and loved playing basketball. He was a dedicated Broncos and Lakers fan.
"Duaine, we will always love and miss you dearly, we know, bro', you'll be with us when we're watching the Broncos play in the Super Bowl!"
He is survived by wife, Kristal; daughters, Shila Jo, and Ciara Marie; son, Duaine Levi "Little Dewey" Vigil; brothers, Joseph, Leonard, Mario, and Dominique; sisters, Yolanda, Joyce, Sandra, and Annette Vigil; grandmother, Aurora Avila; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, all of Salt Lake City. He is preceded in death by parents, Joe Levi and Tila; brothers, Clarence and Brent; daughter, Mariah Ann.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, December 12, 1998 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 1058 West 400 South. Vigil service will be held Friday, December 11, at 7 p.m., Neil O'Donnell and Sons Mortuary, 372 East 100 South, where friends may call from 6-7 p.m. Committal at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, 4th Ave. and T Street.
