Rex Chapman scored eight of his 19 points in the final 37 seconds Saturday night as the Phoenix Suns came from behind to beat the Orlando Magic, 96-94.
Chapman, the hero in a victory over Miami on Friday night, made a clutch 3-pointer and five free throws down the stretch as Orlando squandered an eight-point lead in the final 2:35.Cliff Robinson had 10 of his 23 points in the fourth quarter for Phoenix, which pulled within 92-91 on Chapman's 3-pointer with 36.3 seconds to go. The Suns went ahead for good on a pair of Chapman free throws with 13.6 seconds remaining.
Nick Anderson's turnaround jumper in the lane gave the Magic its first lead of the night, 75-73. Hardaway's last basket put Orlando up 92-88, but it was Chapman's show after that.
CAVALIERS 90, PISTONS 88: At Cleveland, Zydrunas Ilgauskas had a career-high 32 points and 13 rebounds, and Shawn Kemp added 27 points and 15 rebounds as Cleveland beat Detroit.
Ilgauskas and Kemp combined to make 23-of-31 from the field as Cleveland went to its inside game after learning that rookie guard Derek Anderson will miss 6-to-8 weeks with a knee injury.
Detroit's Lindsey Hunter had 18 points, but missed a 20-footer at the buzzer that would have sent the game into overtime. Grant Hill had 19 points and 10 rebounds, but was only 6-for-17 from the field.
HAWKS 103, HORNETS 83: At Charlotte, N.C., Steve Smith and Mookie Blaylock each scored 20 points and Atlanta defeated Charlotte, snapping the Hornets' four-game winning streak.
Chucky Brown led a 37-point performance from Atlanta's bench, scoring six of his 14 in the decisive fourth-quarter run as the Hawks won their second in a row after a five-game skid.
Atlanta, starting a four-game, six-day road trip, shot 52 percent and had a 47-37 rebounding edge. A large part of the Hawks' edge on the boards could be attributed to Dikembe Mutombo, who spent much of the game in foul trouble but still had 13 points and 13 rebounds.
ROCKETS 102, 76ERS 86: At Philadelphia, Charles Barkley had 14 points and 15 rebounds as Houston snapped a five-game road losing streak.

The Nets are now just two games back of Miami in the race for first place in the Atlantic Division.
