Death: Genevieve Youngberg Jarvis (Grandma)

Genevieve Youngberg Jarvis (Grandma) passed away January 29, 1998 surrounded by those who love her.

Born January 22, 1914 in Bountiful, Utah to Ernest and Mae Kynaston Youngberg. Married Norman Harrison, later divorced. Married Norman Harrison, later divorced. Married R.J. (Jack) Jarvis, 1945. He passed away in 1995 with her by his side. Gen worked many devoted years for both Wholesale Stationers and ZCMI. She was known for her ambition, hard work, and particularly took pride in beautifying her yard and neighborhood. Her family has many fond memories of the unselfish good times she shared with them.Survived by two daughters: Maryan (John) Christensen, Charleston, Utah; and Beverly (Jay) Lee, Layton, Utah; 15 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren, and one special great-great-grandchild (Alivia). Also survived by three sisters: Emily Peterson, LaVerna Cleverly and LaVerda Moss. Preceded in death by one son, Richard Harrison; three brothers; and one sister.

Funeral services will by held Monday, February 2 at 12 noon, Woods Cross Stake Center, 2064 So. 800 West, Woods Cross. Friends and family may call from 10 a.m. to noon at Woods Cross Stake. Burial at Lakeview Memorial Estates, Bountiful.
