Death: Audrey Thurmond Hettrick - ""Together Forever""

On the morning of February 8, 1998 our dear mother and grandmother loosed the bonds that tied her to this earth and is free at last from the infirmities of old age.

Born March 24, 1906, the only daughter of James Byron and Amelia Peterson Thurmond in Santaquin, Utah.Married Ray M. Hettrick May 21, 1936, later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died August 9, 1974. A life long member of the LDS church, she enjoyed embroidery, crocheting and being with family and friends.

Survived by two daughters; Janet (Rod) Wright, Vista, CA, Sue (Darrell) Butcher, South Jordan, UT; two brothers, Byron (Stella) Thurmond, Ogden, UT, John L. (Joy Dean) Thurmond, Sandy, UT; 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. Also preceded in death by two grandchildren, Wendy Sue Butcher and James Cardwell.

The family would like to thank all those at South Valley Care Center who took care of Audrey these past few years.

Graveside services will be held Thursday February 12, 1998 at 12 noon at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery/Mortuary, 10600 South 1700 East, where friends may call Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services.
