A woman reported to police that she found an Exacto knife blade in a muffin she bought at a convenience store.

The woman bought a poppy seed muffin at Kountry Korner, 5260 W. 11000 North, Friday, said Alpine-Highland Police Lt. Dave MCManus. As she broke it in half, she found the knife blade in the center of the muffin, he said. The woman promptly brought the muffin and blade to the police station.McManus said police have no idea how or when the blade got into the muffin.
