Phyllis Parry Turner, 89, dear mother, grandmother and sister, died February 8, 1998 from injuries received in an automobile accident.
She was born December 27, 1908 in Bluffdale, Utah to Heber C. and Nellie Tall Parry. Married Herman Covert who preceded her in death. Married William Turner who also preceded her in death.Phyllis worked for many years at Hill Air Force Base as an Upholsterer. She was an active member of the LDS Church, an ardent temple worker and a member of the DUP.
Survivors: daughter, Barbara Covert, Huntington, Utah; son, William Covert (Suzanna), Texas; five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; sisters, Hazel P. Harrison, Salt Lake City;Ardith Lund (Einar), Riverton; Dorothy Garside, Ogden. Preceded in death by infant daughters, Beverly Jane and Shirley Nellie; parents; five brothers, Glen, Archie, Kenneth, Carl and Leo.
Funeral services Saturday, Feb. 14, 1998, at 1 p.m. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 So. State, Midvale, where friends may call Saturday one hour prior to services. Interment, Bluffdale City Cemetery.
