The Utah Valley PAF (Personal Ancestral File) Users Group will meet at 9 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at the "Red" LDS Chapel at 4000 N. Timpview Drive (650 East).
Jake Gehring of Ancestry Incorporated of Orem will talk about what's new in electronic genealogy. Gehring is knowledgeable about computing and genealogy and has a degree in family history from Brigham Young University. He just completed several years as editor of Genealogical Computing, a major quarterly journal.After the opening session there will be five to six classes relating to computing and genealogy, including a question and answer followup session by Gehring. These classes are at all levels from beginning to advanced and include genealogy software other than PAF.
