Death: Cody Camp

Cody F. Camp, age 79, passed away Wednesday, February 11, 1998, in Salt Lake City.

Born October 27, 1918, in Annabella, Sevier Co., Utah to Leo Clyde Camp and Katie Glenn Wright. Married Beth Jensen Aug. 16, 1938, later divorced. Married AnnaBelle King May 7, 1948, later divorced. Married Lucile Persson Goates April 21, 1972. Active member of the LDS Church, having served in various positions during his life. He took particular satisfaction in his work as a stake missionary. Decorated Veteran of World War II.Employed at Kennecott Copper in the assay office and carpenter shop. Later worked in real estate as a salesman and broker. Cody loved the outdoors. He was a guide at Fish Lake in his early years and enjoyed hiking, hunting, fishing and scenic drives throughout his life. He enjoyed working in his yard and especially loved to be with his family.

Survived by wife, Lucile; two sons and one daughter, Steve (Carol), Murray; Brad (Lisa), Sandy; Charlene (Mike) Malaska, Murray; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one niece and two nephews. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Mead; sister, Nina; daughter, Carol DeGooyer; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Feb. 18, 1998, at 12 noon, at the Olympus 6th Ward, 3070 E. Nila Way (4100 So.) Friends and family may call form 6-8 p.m. on Monday, at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 So. Highland Drive, and at the ward Tuesday, 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
