Spurs fall to Suns at home

Jason Kidd matched his season-high with 29 points and the Phoenix Suns broke open a tight game with a decisive fourth-quarter run for a 94-81 victory over the San Antonio Spurs on Saturday night.

Kidd was 11-for-19 from the field and had five points during a decisive 12-0 run in the fourth as Phoenix sprinted away from a 78-78 tie. Kidd, second in the NBA in assists, had five assists and 10 rebounds.The loss, combined with Utah's win over Seattle, dropped the Spurs behind the Jazz into second place in the Midwest Division.

PACERS 96, HAWKS 92: At Atlanta, Reggie Miller scored 31 points and Indiana held Atlanta without a field goal for almost nine minutes of the fourth quarter to beat the Hawks.

After trailing most of the first three quarters, the Pacers broke an 82-82 tie on Derrick McKey's hook shot in the lane with 2:07 to play, putting Indiana in front to stay on what proved to be its final field goal.

NETS 105, 76ERS 98: At Philadelphia, Sam Cassell had 30 points and 11 assists, and his teammates finally found their range in the fourth quarter, as New Jersey rallied for a win over Philadelphia.

After shooting 29-for-81 through the first three quarters, the Nets climbed back from 14 points down.

BUCKS 99, CAVALIERS 93: At Cleveland, Glenn Robinson scored 27 points and Ray Allen added 25 to lead Milwaukee past Cleveland.

Milwaukee started the fourth quarter with a 20-9 run to break a 65-65 tie and take an 85-74 lead.

GRIZZLIES 110, WIZARDS 108 : At Vancouver, British Columbia, Bryant Reeves scored six of his 22 points in overtime as Vancouver snapped a seven-game losing by outlasting Washington.

After the Grizzlies squandered a 10-point lead in the final 3:31 of regulation, Reeves put Vancouver ahead for good with 3:10 left in overtime, making one of two free throws for a 103-102 lead.
