Death: Lee Edward Smith

Lee Edward Smith, 64, of Henrieville, Utah, passed away February 16, 1998, at his home in Henrieville after a courageous battle with a long term illness.

He was born Feb. 19, 1933 in Henrieville, UT, to Robert Earl and Caroline Evelyn Goulding Smith. Lee married Thelma Alvey, Feb. 27, 1956, in Fredonia, AZ.He is survived by his wife, Thelma, Henrieville; children, Barton J. and Sherie Smith, Cedar City; John E. Bud and Becky Smith, St. George; Ben L. and Kimberly Smith, Layton; Boyd V. Smith, Henrieville; Leah Anne Smith, Bryce Canyon; seven grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Ida and Cal Romriell, Washington; Amy and John Clarke, Henrieville; Joy and James Dodds, Panguitch; Roe and Kolleen Smith, Tehachapi, CA; Vee and Judy Smith, Hurricane; Loa and Max Sevy, Panguitch. He is preceded in death by parents; infant son, Anthony; infant grandson, Johnny Lee; brothers, Guy Nephi; Van Dorn; Jed Earl; Don Allen Smith

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 20, 1998, at 1 p.m. in the Henrieville LDS Ward Chapel, where friends may call Friday from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Henrieville Cemetery. Funeral Directors, Neal S. Magleby & Sons Mortuary, Richfield.
