Agnes Looser Johns, age 93, passed away February 16, 1998 in Spanish Fork, Utah.
She was born August 16, 1904 in Benjamin, Utah to Issac and Mary Elizabeth Beardall Losser. She married George Francis Johns, Dec. 19, 1923 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died Feb. 17, 1981.She was educated in Benjamin and Spanish Fork and has been an active member of the LDS Church, especially in the Relief Society Presidencies. She held many positions in the American Legion Auxiliary and quilting chairman for their unit at the State Hospital. She loved to piece and put together quilts and give them away to make someone happy. She was a very caring lady.
Survived by her children, Betty Anderson, Oleta Wignall and Roy (Coleen) Johns, all of Spanish Fork; Kenneth (Deb) Johns of Wells, Nevada; 13 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren; 14 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Hilda Phillips of Springville; Marie L. Hansen of Spanish Fork; brother, LaMar Losser of Payson. Preceded in death by two grandchildren and 8 siblings.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, February 21, 1998 in the LDS Chapel at 600 North Main (old 6th Ward) in Spanish Fork. Friends may call Friday evening from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services at the church. Burial in the Spanish Fork Cemetery.
