Death: Ethel Andersen Glanz

Ethel Andersen Glanz, 84, peacefully returned to her Heavenly Father, February 14, 1998 of natural causes.

She was born October 12, 1913 in Spring City, Utah, to Ethelyn Allred and Arthur L. Andersen. She married Otto M. Henkel, July 20, 1936. He preceded her in death. Married Walter Glanz, February 16, 1942. Later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. He preceded her in death. Aunt Ethel worked for the Federal Government as a secretary. She was an active member in the LDS Church and a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. She loved people, was kind and appreciated the things that were done in her behalf.She is survived by her nieces and nephews, Sharon (Brent) Bain, Arthur Brent Andersen, Michael (Sheryl) Andersen and Sheila (Derrel) Jensen. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, McKay and Arthur Ferre.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 21, 1998 at 11 a.m. at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, where friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment, Mt. Olivet Cemetery.

Her family extends appreciation to the employees of Woodland Park Care Center, especially care-giver, Marlene Gardiner.
