Relatives and friends of some of the six people killed over the weekend agree with investigators - it was probably drug-related.
Three days after the four men and two women were shot and stabbed to death in this southeast Georgia hamlet, police said Monday they have made no arrests. But working with investigators from the Miami area, home to four of the victims, they say they have plenty of leads."I think it's a matter of small drug dealers arguing over turf," Liberty County Sheriff Don Martin said Sunday.
The six died Friday night in a gray cinder block home at the end of a sandy road, about 40 miles southwest of Savannah. Crack cocaine was cooking on the stove. Another unidentified victim, found in a burning car about 30 miles away, could be linked to the killings, Martin said.
