Death: Carole Peterson Hanson

Carole P. Hanson, 74, passed away Thursday, Feb. 19, 1998 in Salt Lake City.

Born April 4, 1923 in Springville, Utah, daughter of Anthone Overn and Gladys Marie Taylor Peterson. She married Robbin R. Hanson on August 28, 1943 at Ft. Warren, Wyoming. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on November 3, 1974.She attended Utah State University, and was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. She later attended Henneger Business College. She worked as an executive medical secretary in Psychiatry and Cardiology at the University of Utah for 21 years. She was a member of the LDS Church, and served in numerous callings in the Church including Stake Primary President. She attended the Wasatch alley Rehab. Branch.

She is survived by a son, Eric R. (Judy) Hanson, Salt Lake City; daughter-in-law, Pattie Hanson, Provo; six grandchildren, Robyn, Christy, Tony, Lori, Joyce and Erica; four great-grandchildren; sister, Marna (Darold) Johnson, Salt Lake City; and brother, Gordon R. (Joan) Peterson, Granada Hills, Ca. She was preceded in death by her husband on September 2, 1994; and son, Dolph A. Hanson.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, February 21, 1998 in the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 S. Highland Drive, where friends may call one hour prior to services. Interment in Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
