Caption Only: Student dino mural at U. delights the eye

Hundreds of students who showed up Thursday at the Utah Museum of Natural History admire their art project, a 20-foot dinosaur mural. The students are among 2,000 statewide who helped design and paint the mural, depicting dinosaurs from three eras. It is displayed in the museum's new S.J. and Jessie E. Quinney Dinosaur Discovery Hall. Its grand opening is Saturday, Feb. 21, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and will feature a fossil lab, where visitors can watch as experts extract fossils from rock.
