Death: Virginia (Gin) H. Dimond ""Together at Last""

Our precious mother left this life Feb. 20, 1998 to go with her eternal companion, parents, brothers and sister.

Behind she left a great legacy of nine children, 36 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Born Feb. 22, 1922 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Niels and Amelia Larson Holmquist. Married Arland Gardner Dimond in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on Oct. 16, 1940. He preceded her in death on Jan. 1, 1997.To each she taught beautiful characteristics: hard work, sacrifice, responsibility, sharing, laughter, dedication, kindness, charity, and most of all, love and acceptance. Her love for life and her family will be missed, for that was the most important to her. May she rest in peace and be eternally happy. We will miss this wonderful woman. Her grandchildren were her precious angels. Everyone knew the special spot they held in her heart. She very seldom said a bad word about anyone. She felt if you couldn't say anything good, don't say anything at all. One can still hear her say, "Kill them with kindness or turn the other cheek." What an example of greatness. She is truly a daughter of God and a blessed mother and grandmother. She gave of herself unselfishly until the very end. She was the proud mother of two sets of twins. She was a temple worker in the Jordan River Temple and held many other church callings. She served as PTA president and 4-H leader and was instrumental in getting the West Jordan Senior Citizen Program going.

We will miss you, Mom, but we loved you enough to let you go, and you will dwell in our hearts forever--Love you, your family: Ken (Larene), Frank, DyAnn (Duck), Boyd (Lanna), Bonnie (Ferris), Kay (Carl), Sally (Dave), Brett (Julie), Bart (Cindy); sisters, Lillie Carlsen and Evelyn Taylor. Special thanks to Joel Dumond, Jody Pratt, Helen Blauvelt and Heather Richens.
