Death: Erna Pack Searle

Beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend, Erna Pack Searle, passed from this life February 19, 1998 to join her eternal companion and many kind and gentle loved ones waiting to be reunited with her.

Born June 7, 1910 in Cedar City, Utah, daughter of John Greene and Ellen Stark Pack. Married Owen Lee Searle in the Salt Lake Temple May 27, 1938; he preceded her in death July 13, 1994 after 56 years together. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church throughout her life. Served in numerous capacities including callings with her husband to serve as temple workers in the St. George and Jordan River Temple and a full time mission to San Antonio, Texas. She loved her family and was a great example to all who knew her.Survived by children, Erna Lee Schofield, Clinton O. (Delores Searle, Kenneth M. (Judy) Searle, all of West Valley City; Paul E. (Karen) Searle, Enoch; Ella-Rene (Richard) Cannon, Riverton; 17 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sisters, Lillian DeLaney and Ramona Whetton, Ogden.

Funeral services will be held Monday, 12:00 noon at the Hunter 18th Ward, 3737 South 5600 West. Friends may call Sunday, 5-8 p.m. at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road and Monday at the church, 11-11:45 a.m. Interment, Salt Lake City Cemetery.
