Death: Agness Davis Griswold

Agness Davis Griswold, 83, passed away February 19, 1998 from a heart attack.

She was not only loved dearly as mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, but also as a friend and great inspiration to so very, very many. No matter where she went, she left an abundance of happiness behind her. She strived always to live the way the Lord would teach - - to find the good in everything and everyone. She was born December 3, 1914 in Wellwyn, Saskatchewan, Canada and left one wonderful country to live in another by marrying Ray Griswold on July 15, 1939.

She taught school in Canada for seven years, then became an Avon Representative in the United States and had so proudly just this month reached her 50th year of selling and getting to know and love many wonderful friends! She also loved her church, had great bridge friends and bowled twice a week - - even last week!

She is preceded in death by her husband, Ray; one sister, Myrtle; and three brothers, Matt, Bill, and Henry Davis. She is survived by two daughters, Sherry Garrison (who lost her dear husband, Ken - just four months ago), and Bonnie Powers (Chuck); also by eight grandchildren, Ray, Ron (Elaine), Kris (Brian), and Kim (fiance, Rob), Troy (Eva), Sean, Lori and Kevin; also by four great-grandchildren, Brandon, Alyssa, Erin and Gregory. We love you, forever and ever!

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, February 24, 1998 at 1 p.m. at Mountain View Memorial Estates, 7800 South 3115 East, where friends may call Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to the services. Interment Mountain View Cemetery.
