Domingo Martinez, 89, passed away Feb. 19, 1998.

He was born in Texas, to Pedro and Leonettes Martinez, April 29, 1908. He was raised by his grandfather. Domingo was a charming, dapper, unselfish man of good humor, and generous to those less fortunate. As a young man, he traveled the western U.S. shearing sheep. He found a home in Utah caring for the sheep herds of the Condas Bros., the W.O. Collard Family for 26 years, and finally the Earl Bingham Family. He endeared himself to these people by his excellent work ethic, and his kindness to the animals in his care.He is survived by one son, Danny Revis; two grandsons, Danny Jr. and Julian Martinez Revis. He was an adoring father and grandfather. These children were at the center of his life and heart. He loved his two brothers who survive him,

Savas and Pedro Martinez of Mexico. He was preceded in death by brothers, Valentino and Hoyae Martinez.

Julio and Andrea Santiago, and Bruce and Betty C. Glad were his lifelong friends, as were Juan and Maria Sarjardo with whom he had recently been living.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Thursday, 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 715 W. 300 No. A Vigil Service will be held Wednesday, 7 p.m. at the Neil O'Donnell and Sons Mortuary, 372 E. 100 So., where friends may visit Wednesday 6-7 p.m. Committal service, Mt. Calvary Cemetery, 4th Ave. and T St.
