Wisk Away gel stain-remover promises "complete" removal. The pre-wash solution is available $2.59 for a 6-5-ounce bottle.
Nihla Lake (married, two children at home): "In the spirit of the Olympic competition, we decided to go head-to-head with Wisk stain remover and our old brand, Shout. We took two pieces of cloth and we stained them both with ketchup, mustard, wood stain, grape juice, Worchestershire sauce and grease. After coming out of the wash, we had to award them both a 5.9! The grease and the wood stain were left behind on the fabric. So I guess it's a matter of choosing the one that's the most convenient for you. Wisk's gel and the brush-top were handy, though."Edyth Jensen (married, son, wife and one grandchild at home): "I liked the Wisk gel with the scrubber on top. I compared with the Shout stick stain remover and it did a better job. I will use it again."
Don Russell (married, five children at home): "When we look back on our experience with Wisk Away, we'll remember three things: we liked the `scrub' cap, the liquid poured way too quickly out of the cap and Wisk Away took care of our stains - including the nasty blueberry one. Lever Brothers appears to have a good product on its hands, but there are lots of these kinds of products on the market. We also take the liberty of advising Lever Brothers that Wisk Away should be marketed in a much larger bottle."
Linda C. Tingey (single mother, two sons at home): "This is a hit! My son Tyler tried it on a stain that had already been washed in. After a washing, the stain was entirely gone. I tried it on a white work blouse and it took the stain right out. I'm very impressed and I'm definitely buying it again."
Rich Firmage (married, four children, oldest 12 years old): "We tried this on my daughter's new bib overalls. It worked great. But then we tried it on my son's muddy T-shirt and it worked so-so. But then nothing else would have worked either. The brush applicator on the bottle is great."
Bill Allred (married): (Bill is on his way back from Nagano so we're thinking he was a little too pre-occupied to have tested Wisk.)
Conclusion: Wow, we have some dedicated testers! Nihla put Wisk through its paces and found it as good as Shout stain remover. Others were more than pleased with the new gel. We think you should `Wisk' away the stains you might have incurred.
