Hillary Allan, l9 year old, daughter of Timothy T. and Dianne Rasmussen Allan passed away Feb. 20, l998 at the U of U. Medical Center following a valiant battle of leukemia and after undergoing a bone marrow transplant.
Hillary graduated from Jordan High school May l997, where she was a member of the Chamber Chior. She was a happy, vivacious girl who maintained a positive, upbeat attitude throughout her illness. Hillary loved life and lived it to the fullest. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her nieces and nephews, "her babies."She loved singing, the mountains and horseback riding with family and friends., We love you and will miss you, Hills.
The family are thankful for the faith, prayers, and well wishes that have been extended to them and want to especially thank the many people who contributed to the Hillary Allan Bone Marrow Transplant Fund. They Also want to thank the doctors, nurses, and social workers at the hospital who were so helpful, kind and caring.
Hillary was born Dec. 6, l978 in Murray, Utah.
She is survived by her parents, brothers, Tyler (Heather) and Joshua, sister Justine (Mark) Anderton, five nieces and Nephews and her grandparents, Welden and Ramona Rasmussen, all of Draper, Utah. She was preceded in death by a brother Jeremey, and grandparents Elvin and Phoebe Allan.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 26, 1998 at 12 noon at the Draper Third Ward 12300 So. 600 East, Draper. Friends may call Weds. from 6-8 p.m. at the Broomhead Funeral Home l2600 So. 2200 W. Riverton, and on Thurs. from 10 to 11:45 a.m. at the church.
The family requests that in lieu of Flowers a donation be made to the University of Utah Bone Marrow Transplant Unit Room 2753 50 No. Medical Dr. SLC. Utah 84l32. Burial in the Lake Hills Memorial Park, Sandy.
