Clemont Antone Atwood, 75, and Marcella Van Winkle Atwood, 63, returned to their Heavenly Father together Friday, February 20, 1998, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Clemont was born in Cleveland, Utah to William James and Laura Darcus Cramer. He married Leora Mae Pierce of Wellington, November 15, 1941. Following her death he married Marcella Van Winkle Grimm, March 23, 1996 in the Manti LDS Temple. She was born May 8, 1935 in Minnesota to Wayne and Esther Van Winkle.Survived by children, Ronald (Mary) Atwood, Orem; Brent (Sheree) Atwood, Cedar City; Gary (Tricia) Atwood, Price; Bruce (Susan) Atwood, Roy; RuthAnn (Jay) Dinkleman, Wellington; Alva (Smokey) Clark, Wellington; David, Dwayne and Jeffrey Grimm, Minnesota. Two daughters and a son-in-law, Cleora Mae Clark, Karen Kay and Joseph Lamar Jewkes, Sandy, also perished in the accident. They are also survived by 46 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; one brother, Melrose Atwood, Wellington; and one sister, Aljean (Mark) Loving, Minnesota.

Joint funeral services will be held Thursday, February 26, 1998 at the Wellington LDS Stake Center, 935 East Main Street, Wellington, Utah. A viewing will be held Wednesday, February 25, 1998 from 6-8 p.m. at Fausett's Mortuary, 695 East 100 South, Price, Utah, and at the Wellington Stake Center one hour prior to services. Interment at the Wellington City Cemetery.
