Our loving father, son, grandson, brother and friend, William G. Carpenter age 44, passed away February 22, 1998 in Midvale, Utah.
Born September 25, 1953 in Kremmling, Colorado, son of William Eugene and Opal Bills Carpenter. Married Sue Marie Giles; later divorced. Worked on oil rigs and was a truck driver for Vanco Warehouse. Loved camping and playing the guitar and his dog, Marshmellow. Member of the LDS Church.Survived by his son, William Cody Carpenter; daughters, BilliSue Carpenter, Jennifer Prescott, all of Salt Lake City; parents of Kearns; grandmother, Marie Bills of Sandy; brother, Richard L. (Jodie) Carpenter, Kearns; sister, Linda Marie Johnston, Kearns; nieces and nephews, Derek, Richard, Lacey, Traves and Dalton; special thanks to his roommate and friend, Ken Shelton.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, 10 a.m., at McDougal Funeral Home, 4330 South Redwood Road where friends may call Wednesday, 6-8 p.m. and Thursday, 9-9:45 a.m. Interment, Valley View Memorial Park.
