Clearfield to consider zoning issue

Does the city need more apartments?

That will be a key issue at tonight's City Council meeting at 7 p.m., at City Hall, 140 E. Center St., when seven acres of land is considered for a zoning change from agricultural to multi-family.The land being considered during this hearing is at 894 S. 1500 East. Vincent Lopez, representing Triton Investments, has made the land-use request.

The council will also hold two other public hearings tonight, one relating to expanding the city's commercial district and the other on changes in the city's business license ordinance.
