District of Columbia police have charged a man with murder in a shooting spree inside a hospital cancer center that killed professional boxer Reuben Bell.
Tomar Cooper Locker, 23, of Fort Washington, Md., was awaiting extradition from South Carolina after being arrested Monday at the Fort Jackson Army base in Columbia, police said.He has been charged with first degree murder while armed and assault charges related to five other people who were injured in the hospital lobby.

Bell, who had been diagnosed with colon cancer, was shot Feb. 5 as he arrived at Washington Hospital Center's Cancer Institute for chemotherapy treatment.
