Winifred Blanche Evans Ballaine age 77, passed away Feb. 21, 1998 at her home.
Born Jan. 16, 1921 in Winter Quarters, Utah to Windsor Lloyd and Blanche Lamond Nelson Evans. Married Platt Neil Ballaine in 1940. He passed away on June 9, 1976. She was a member of the LDS Church. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and Great grandmother.Suvivors: son, Greg (Kathleen); three granchildren, Mike (Jennifer), Mark (Lori), Gregory Stuwart (Becky); seven great-grandchildren; sister, Margo (Gene) Payne; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by two sons, Donald and Dennis.
Friends may call Thursday 6-7:30 pm at the Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary 4760 S. State St. where a short family service will follow at 7:30 p.m.
Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
