The Utah Starzz have announced a four-game local television schedule for their second season of competition in the Women's National Basketball Association.

Randy Rigby, vice president of broadcasting, said today the Starzz' first televised contest will be June 25, when Utah welcomes the Charlotte Sting to the Delta Center.Television game No. 2 finds the Starzz taking on the Los Angeles Sparks from the Great Western Forum in Inglewood, Calif., on July 2. Utah and the Defending WNBA champion Houston Comets take center stage in Salt Lake City for the third televised game on Aug. 4. The fourth, and final, televised contest features a royal battle as the Sacramento Monarchs invade the Delta Center on Aug. 12. The total number of Starzz games on television stands at six when combined with the two nationally televised games at Washington (Lifetime) and Cleveland (ESPN) on June 19 and June 22, respectively.

The Starzz will once again be seen on Salt Lake City station KJZZ-TV with Steve Brown calling the play-by-play and Utah Jazz President Frank Layden providing the color commentary. The duo of Brown and Layden are wrapping up their third season of calling University of Utah sporting events on KJZZ.
