Clark M. Rasmussen, 89, passed away Feb. 24, 1998, in Salt Lake City, at the U of U Medical Center.

Born September 29, 1908 in Mantua, Utah, a son of Martin and Cleopatria Leana Jensen Rasmussen. MarriedSarah Ellen Turner Oct. 17, 1929 in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple; she was his sweetheart and #1 for 68 years. He was raised in Mantua and Brigham City; was an accomplished baseball player in his youth.

He was a devoted, faithful member of the LDS Church, serving in many positions, bishop, stake high council, served a mission with is wife at the Los Angeles Visitor Center. They lived in Mantua, Brigham City, North Ogden, St. George, and recent years in Bountiful, gathering beautiful friendships wherever they were. He worked 30 years for the State Job Service. His life was his family and his church. He was our guiding light, he brought to us joy, laughter, total support and complete and total unconditional love. We want to express our love and devotion to our wonderful father, husband, brother and friend.

Survivors include his wife; son, Clark Robert (Gay Anne); daughters, Cleo Moss (Robert); Kay Hall (Glade); 11 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; brothers, Don H. (Marie), Floyd, and sister, Irma Zundel.

Funeral services will be Saturday, Feb. 28, 1998 at 11 a.m. at the Lindquist's Bountiful Mortuary, 727 No. 400 East, where friends may call 9:30-10:45 a.m. Interment in Mantua City Cemetery.
