Caribbean country issues Titanic stamps

St. Vincent and The Grenadines, a former British colony in the eastern Caribbean, has issued a special souvenir sheet containing five different stamps depicting the Titanic which sank with a loss of 1,513 lives in 1912 after striking an iceberg.

The scenes on the stamps are familiar to many who have seen the recent film based on the tragic maiden voyage of the luxury liner.These stamps are available at your local dealer.

In addition, "Stamps For The Wounded" is asking for help in providing stamps and other collectibles for military veterans in various hospitals.
