Lena Marie Patermann, age 76, passed away at her home on Tuesday, February 24, 1998, after suffering a heart attack.
Born November 11, 1921 in Gunnison, Colorado to Joseph M. and Maria Cirila Fernandez. She married Vane Clifton in 1942, later divorced. Married Bertold Patermann June 3, 1983, he died April 30, 1986.She was converted to the LDS Church in 1969 and was a member of the Winder 9th Ward. Lena was a kind, loving and considerate person, always smiling and happy to see anyone of her many friends when they came to call. She was very generous and loved to go to lunch. She will be sorely missed by all who knew her.
Survived by nephews and nieces. Preceded in death by her parents; brothers: Manuel, John, Leo, Ben, Joe and Isaac; sisters: Stephanie Mondragon, Irene Chevez, Frances Medinas, Bertie Bryant and Leona Fernandez.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 28, 1998 at 11 a.m. at the Winder 9th Ward, 1475 East 4705 South. Friends may call at Larkin Mortuary, 260 East South Temple, Friday 7 to 8 p.m. and Saturday at the Ward one hour prior to the services. Burial in Larkin Sunset Gardens, 10600 South 1700 East, Sandy, Utah.
