Death: Luiene L. Green

Our shining star and bright sunshine Luiene Lacey Green, 66, a caring friend, devoted mother and loving wife passed away peacefully while under the care of her loving daughter and husband on Feb. 27, 1998. She was surrounded by the love of her family after a lifetime of extraordinary love and devotion to her family.

Born February 5, 1932 in Salt Lake City, Utah, daughter of Joseph and Ethel Vickers Barrett and Vvhs Tanner. She married M. Cleon Green, May 27, 1949 in Nephi, Utah and later re-united in marriage December 29, 1997. Member of the LDS Church, worked 10 years for Granite School District Kitchen, and 12 years at 1st Security Bank Central operations.Surviving are: husband, Cleon, of Kearns; children, Maurine Harward, of West Valley; Rodney and Laura, of Woods Cross; Gary M., of Kearns; Karen and Kim O'Donnell, of West Jordan; Kirsty and Garry Jones, of West Valley; 13 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by brother, Leland Barrett.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 2, 1998, 2 p.m. at Redwood Memorial Estates, 6500 So. Redwood Rd., where friends may call Sunday 6-8 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to services. Interment Redwood Memorial Estates.
