Richard George Dye, age 86, died February 3, 1998 in a Roosevelt Hospital.
He was born December 28, 1911 in Coalville to Ben G. and Carrie Moore Dye. He married Maisie Wilkerson, by the mayor of Ogden City, June 30, 1930, while in an airplane over the city. Their marriage was solemnized June 15, 1931 in the Manti LDS Temple. Richard worked in the aviation and aerospace industry and has been living in Brigham City.He is survived by his wife of Neola; sons, Ron (Karen) Dye, Woodland Hills, UT; Garold (Carol) Dye, Neola; 10 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Valene Galley; two grandchildren, Rick Knox and Geraldine Dye.
Funeral services held Saturday, 1 p.m. at the Neola LDS Church. Friends may call at the Hullinger Olpin Mortuary, Friday from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday at the church from 12-12:45 p.m. Burial in the Roosevelt Memorial Park.
