Death: Joseph Corak

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Joseph Corak, passed away February 2, 1998 in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Born September 23, 1915 in Boise, Idaho to David and Eva Ostovic Corak. He was a veteran of World War II. Married Mary Tomsic April 9, 1947 at Notre Dame Catholic Church, Price, Utah. Worked as a meat cutter, manager, and supervisor for various grocery stores in the Salt Lake area. Retired in May, 1977.Was a member of the Masonic Order, Mount Moriah Lodge #2, the Scottish Rite 32 Degree, and an active Shriner. Also a member of St. Ann Parish. His family was the most important thing to him. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, dancing, traveling to Arizona in the winter, and spending time with his family.

Survived by his wife of 50 years; son, Joseph M. (Amy S.); daughter, Marcia Ann; granddaughters Andrea and Kaitlyn; a brother and sisters. Preceded in death by his parents and three infant children.

Holy Rosary will be recited Friday, February 6, 1998 at 7:00 p.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 450 East 2100 South, where friends may call from 6-7 p.m. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday, Feb. 7, 1998 at 10 a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church. Committal: Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park, 3401 South Highland Drive (Olympus Section). Directors, Wasatch Lawn Mortuary.
