Death: Helen Dahle

Helen Dahle, 86, of Salt Lake City, passed away peacefully February 3, 1998, after a brief illness, with her loving, devoted sister, Maxine by her side.

Helen was born in Spanish Fork, Utah, on November 8, 1911 to Neil and Sophia Beagley Dahle. She was a member of the LDS Church. Helen was a kind, generous person who loved people. She was always willing to do her share and serve in any capacity she was asked. She graduated from LDS Business College and worked as a legal secretary for many years in Provo and in Salt Lake. She also worked in the Salt Lake County Recorders Office and retired in 1988. She was active in Civic and Community affairs. She served as President of the State Federation of the Business and Professional Women's Club, President of the Republican Club, Vice President of the Toastmistress Club and the Delta Theta Chi Sorority, Secretary of the Utah County Chapter of the American Red Cross, Member of the Freedom Foundation, Knife and Fork Club, and the Ladies Literary Club. Her interests included music and travel.She is survived by her sister, Maxine Dahle; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers, William Dahle and LaVerre Dahle, and sisters, Leora Dahle and Merl Creer.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 7, in the Salt Lake 14th Ward Church at 142 West 200 North, at 12 noon. Friends may call at the church from 10:45 to 11:45 prior to services. Burial will be in the Spanish Fork City Cemetery under the direction of Cannon Mortuary.
