Freedom Festival contest for all students in Utah

America's Freedom Festival at Provo is holding an essay contest for elementary, junior high and high school students.

The contest theme is "Hope of America." Essays must be two pages or less and do not have to be typewritten. Entries will be judged on originality, depth of insight, sincerity of tone and use of theme.The contest is open to public, private and home school students. All entries are due Friday, Feb. 27, to classroom and English teachers who will pass them on to PTA presidents. Winners in each of four age divisions will receive U.S. savings bonds.
