Death: Stuart Gillespie Wilson

Stuart passed away unexpectedly on Feb. 5th, 1998 from a massive heart attack due to the flu.

He was only 63 years old. Stuart was born in Montreal, Canada on Oct. 26, 1934 to his dear parents Hugh and Ann Wilson. He was always proud of his Scottish heritage. He was educated in Montreal and served as branch president and several branch, ward and stake leadership positions of the LDS Church. He was a great teacher and leader of the youth, especially in the scouts and sports programs. He appreciated the love of good friends. But the love of his life has been his family and the gospel. He was so proud of his children and their love for each other. He taught them that love and togetherness can help them through the most difficult of times.Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Alex.

Survived by his lovely, sweet wife, Eeva Ritva Halonen Wilson, whom he married on June 28, 1958 and sealed for time and all eternity in the Cardston Alberta LDS temple. Thank you for 40 wonderful years. Children, Leila Cathy and Michael Hudgins, Jay Stuart and Tracy Wilson, Sharon Ann and David Lunt, Eeva Kristiina (Tiina) and Brent Geddes, Scott Anthony and Marcia Wilson, Jedd Morgan and Stella Wilson and Laura Lee Ann Wilson "the little one", 10 lovely dear grandchildren; brothers, Ian and Munroe Wilson and sister, AnnaMae Macloed.

Funeral services, Monday, Feb. 9, 1998, 11 a.m., Big Cottonwood Stake Center, 1750 E. Spring Ln., Holladay where friends may call Monday 10 - 10:45 a.m. Interment, Murray City Cemetery. Funeral Directors, Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary.
