Death: Donald R. Green

Donald R. Green passed away on February 6, 1998 at the age of 71.

Born June 8, 1926 in Ogden, Utah to Russell A. and Mabel McFarland Green. Don was a devoted member of the LDS Church and served in many callings. He will be remembered for the many devoted hours he spent in extensive church research, collecting and preserving documents. His devotion to his family and church will be remembered and cherished. Don served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and participated in the Iwo Jima Campaign where he was wounded. He was a talented craftsman and hand carved many beautiful items.Survived by brothers, Albert (Beth) Green, San Marcos, California; Floyd (Dana) Green, Sandy, Utah; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Tues., Feb. 10, 1998 in the Monument Park 20th Ward, 2795 Crestview Drive. Family and friends may call on Mon. evening from 6-8 p.m. in the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary, 3401 South Highland Drive and at the ward on Tuesday from 10:45-11:45 a.m. prior to services. Interment Ogden City Cemetery, 602 20th Street, Ogden, Utah.
