Death: Ida Elizabeth Wall Snow

Ida Elizabeth Wall Snow, 95, died Feb. 6, 1998 in St. George, UT.

Born Nov. 17, 1902 in Castle Dale, Emery County, UT to Alonzo Edward and Sophia Duffin Wall. Married Glendon Ware Snow, Sept. 22, 1922 in the Manti LDS Temple. He died April 28, 1995 after being married for over 72 years. She lived in Castle Dale all her life until 1990 when she and her husband moved to St. George to be near their children. She was very devoted to her husband, family and church. She made special days special for members of the family. An excellent seamstress, her needle work was exceptional, and her lacy handkerchiefs and doilies were given or sold to people all over the world.She was an active member of the LDS Church all her life. She served as president of the Primary, MIA, Relief Society, and was a teacher in all the organizations. She and her husband wer faithful temple workers in the Manti LDS Temple for over ten years. She loved the Lord and had great faith in Him.

She is survived by two daughters and three sons, Mrs. Raymond (Kathryn) Tartar, Green River, Wyoming; Mrs. Lynn (Imogene) Wright, St. George; Stanley Glen (Joan) Snow, Spring Glen; Boyd W. (Larraine) Snow, Cedar City; Mack Alonzo (Kathleen) Snow, St. George; 23 grandchildren; 84 great-grandchildren; 10 great-great-grandchildren; one sister, Ramona Guymon, Salt Lake City. Preceded in death by her hsuband and an infant daughter, Virginia.

Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, Feb. 10, 1998 in the Castle Dale Stake Center at 11 a.m. Viewing will be at Fausett Mortuary, Castle Dale, Monday 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. and Tuesday one hour prior at the church. Burial will be in the Orangeville Cemetery.
