Death: George Blaine Dobson

George Blaine Dobson, 87, died of causes incident to age at his Farmington home on Thursday, February 5, 1998.

He was born June 1, 1910, in Richfield, Utah, to George Watson and Rhoda Adele Ogden Dobson. He grew up in Delta, Utah, and attended college at Cedar City, Utah, after completing an LDS mission to Nova Scotia, Canada. He married Lillian Parry in the St. George LDS Temple on November 4, 1932. They lived in Cedar City prior to moving to Farmington, Utah, in 1941. He was employed at Hill Field for 32 years.He an his wife fulfilled an LDS mission to Australia in 1975. He was active in the LDS Church, serving in numerous capacities, including bishop, the high council, and 12 years as a temple ordinance worker in Ogden. He was Justice of the Peace for a number of years.

He is survived by his children, Jerry (Kaye),

Johann Griffith Yorgason (Keith), and Chad

Dobson, as well as nine grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held in the Farmington Rock Chapel on North Main on Wednesday, February 11, 1998 at 11 a.m. Viewing will be at the chapel prior to the funeral from 9:30-10:45 a.m. Family and friends are invited to call at the Dobson home on Monday, February 9, 1998 from 3 to 6 p.m. or Tuesday, February 10, 1998 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Interment Farmington City Cemetery. Funeral arrangements under the direction of Lindquist's Kaysville Mortuary.
