Gun laws strict enough

I am writing you in the matter of gun control. I believe that right now in America the laws on guns are as strict as they need to be. I feel that people should be able to own handguns and any other kind of gun they choose.

If people are refused the right to own guns because of deaths that occur due to guns, this is unfair. If the people are denied guns, they would only buy them illegally or find another weapon. However, first-time gun owners and children with guns in their household should be required to take a class that will educated them on the proper care of guns. I believe that this would cut down drastically on the number of deaths due to accidents. These are my feelings, and thank you for your time.Tyler Hutchison
