Death: Earl Warner

Our beloved Earl Leroy Warner, age 86, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on February 6, 1998

He was born March 29, 1911, in Nephi, Utah, to William Andrew and Henrietta Hansen Warner. He married the love of his life, Alburta Cowan, June 29, 1940, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She passed away November 13, 1968. He married Lena Thompson Doe on November 24, 1972. She passed away May 29, 1992.He graduated from Nephi High School and Utah State University. Earl had a unique zest and love for life. He was involved with Alburta's teaching career making sure every student had a special memory of their school days. Many of her students still came to visit Earl until his last days. Earl was well known for his various musical talents; he was a member of the "Nebo Knights" and loved playing his organ at countless weddings. Earl was recognized by the American Legion and the Juab High School for his time and musical talents, he so enjoyed donating. He also enjoyed his memberships in the Lions Club and the Good Sam Club. He was Juab County Clerk and ward clerk for many years.

Survived by his only child, John Earl (Barbara) Warner of Nephi; four stepsons, Kent Harmon Kearns, Scott (Rosie) Doe, both of Salt Lake City; Kelly (Sandy) Doe of West Valley City; Kevin (Cherie) Doe of Logan; 14 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by one sister, Thelma, and four brothers, William, Clarence, Orvald and Francis.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, February 11, 1998, in the Nephi Stake Center, 351 North 100 West. Friends may call Tuesday from 6-8 p.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North, and at the church, one hour prior to services. Burial in the Nephi City Cemetery.
