SHARE Provo seeks singers to perform in choir at Freedom Festival

America's Freedom Festival at Provo is seeking volunteer who enjoy singing to join an interfaith choir that will perform at the Patriotic Service June 28.

"We are asking for contact by interested families or individuals in writing, listing names, ages (8 years and older) and a return address and telephone number," said Ron Clark, chairman of the Patriotic Service and president of the Freedom Festival.Mack Wilberg, director of Brigham Young University's Men's Chorus, will direct the approximately 2,000-voice choir. The service will be broadcast via satellite throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico, and selected PBS stations.

Those interested are asked to contact the Freedom Festival office at P.O. Box 2230, Provo, UT 84603-2230. Information can also be faxed to 370-8037. All choir members will receive further information regarding rehearsal dates, times and place.
