John Arnold Goodro, 76, of Monroe, Utah, passed away at his home in Monroe, Utah with his wife by his side.
He was born March 2, 1922, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Peter Joseph and Clara Judd Goodro. John married Faye Sommer, November 4, 1947, in Elko, Nevada.John worked as a mechanic and was a Veteran of World War II from 1940-1945.
John is survived by his wife, Faye, Monroe; children, Daniel A. Goodro, Fresno, CA; Mary Goodro and Mike Beachler, Salt Lake; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; brother, Harold J. Goodro, Salt Lake City.
At the request of the family there will be no funeral services. Cremation services will be in Salt Lake City. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
