A Sandy man Friday admitted to attempting to sexually assault a massage therapist after he hired her to give him a massage at his apartment.
Andrzej Krajewski, 36, pleaded guilty to attempted rape and attempted forcible sodomy, both second-degree felonies. He had originally been charged with aggravated sexual assault and forcible sodomy, first-degree felonies, but agreed to plead guilty in exchange for the reduced charge.
Krajewski answered 3rd District Judge Timothy R. Hanson's questions succinctly Friday.
After reading the allegations surrounding the crimes, Hanson asked, "Are they true?"
"They are true," Krajewski answered.
Krajewski called a massage company Dec. 30 and requested services at his apartment, 8176 S. 1300 East.
A woman arrived and began the massage.
The woman told police Krajewski then sexually abused and raped her, adding that she told Krajewski she didn't want sex and that it was illegal, according to court documents.
The woman then left the apartment and called police.
After his arrest, Krajewski admitted sexually assaulting the woman and giving her a bad check, court documents said.
