SHARE Kaysville accepts low bid for waterline on Ward Road

The City Council has accepted a low bid of $299,000 from Whitaker Construction Co of Brigham City to install a new waterline along Ward Road.

City manager John Thacker said the project will increase water pressure in the area of U.S. 89 to desired standards. It will also provide the city with the flexibility to be able to move one of its two water tanks, located just east of U.S. 89, to the south whenever plans for widening that major road may begin.Fourteen companies bid on the waterline project.
