Driving on I-15 northbound near the Point of the Mountain was slow going Monday afternoon. In fact, it couldn't get much worse. Motorists were slowed by a diesel fuel tanker that overturned near 14300 South. Congestion was compounded by construction work near 13200 South and pothole repair near 4000 South. Both projects restricted traffic to one lane. Traffic was backed up from Draper to Alpine for most of the afternoon. Some reported that the drive from Lehi to Draper took almost an hour. The tanker's driver, Greg Cox, 33, American Fork, was not injured except for a few scratches and bruises. Crews took about three hours to remove the wrecked tanker from the freeway, and the congestion cleared a few hours later.
