SHARE Syracuse farmland may be rezoned

Another 69 acres of farmland will be considered for a rezone to residential use at the next City Council meeting.

The council will consider rezoning land west of 3000 West and Bluff Road - near 2150 South - from agricultural to low-density residential use. The hearing is set for 7:30 p.m. April 14 at City Hall, 1987 S. 2000 West.Glen Wade of West Point, the landowner, is requesting the zoning change. The zone he is seeking requires house lots to be at least 15,000 square feet.
