Mary Maxine Nielson died March 28, 1998, in a Tooele hospital.
She was born May 10, 1923, in Tooele, Utah, to Edward O. and Frances Haynes Marsh. She married Harold E. Nielson on Nov. 9, 1947, in Ely, Nevada. He preceded her in death in death Aug. 4, 1983.Maxine was employed in the restaurant industry. She loved needlework, fishing and working in her yard.
Maxine is survived by her daughters, Sharyn (George) Putnik and Jolene (Craig) Shields, both of Tooele; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Also by sisters, Edna Pitt of Tooele and Carol Nelson of West Jordan; and a brother, Jerry Marsh of Washington.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, April 1, 1998 in the Tooele City Cemetery at 1 p.m. Friends may call one hour prior to services a the Tate Mortuary, 110 S. Main in Tooele. Burial Tooele City Cemetery.
