Amy Marie Mortensen Ericson, 78, died March 29, 1998 in Price.
She was born March 18, 1920 in Elmo, Utah to Francis J. and Jennie Pulsipher Mortensen. She married Ralph D. Ericson March 19, 1937, later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple. He preceded her in death in 1971.As an active member of the LDS Church, she held numerous callings. She worked and later volunteered at the CEU Prehistoric Museum and also volunteered as a Pink Lady at the local hospital. Her greatest joy was her family and she centered her life around them.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Jolene and Van Tucker, of West Valley; Colleen and James Cave, of Wellington; Jerry and Terri Ericson, of Colorado; Janet and John O'Berto and Edwin and Avaline Ericson, all of Wellington; two sisters, Trina Russell and Verna Hansen, both of Salt Lake. Also survived by 16 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren, five step grandchildren and one step great-grandchild. Preceded in death by four brothers, two sisters, and two infant daughters.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 2, 1998 at 11 a.m. at the Wellington Stake Center. Friends may call at Fausett Mortuary in Price Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. and one hour prior to services at the church. Burial, Tooele Cemetery.
