Jeannette Smith Harrison Poole, 77, died March 3, 1998 from complications of a stroke. She died in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Jeannette was born in Lehi, Utah, December 4, 1920 to Albert R. Smith and Ann Crabb Smith. She graduated from South High School in 1938. She married Kenneth W. Harrison, June 27, 1941 in the Salt Lake Temple.She and her husband owned and operated several cafes in the Salt Lake and Holladay area. He preceded her in death in 1977. She retired from the Salt Lake County Recorder's Office. She married Harold W. Poole August 30, 1986. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She loved to travel and enjoyed the association of many close friends throughout her life. Jeannette was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was a member of the Holladay Second Ward at the time of her death.

Survived by husband Harold W. Poole, two children, Grant Ken Harrison (Gay), Joan Smith (John); two step-children, Linda Warner (Paul), Stan Poole (Cheryl); five grandchildren, nine step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. Also survived by four brothers and one sister: Thomas (Bob) Smith (Marian), Dean Smith (Jean), Jack Smith (Linda), Glenn Smith (June), and Geneve Zobell (Rudy).

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Monday March 9, 1998 at the Wasatch Lawn Mortuary Chapel, 3401 South Highland Drive, were friends may call from 10:45-11:45 prior to services. Interment, Wasatch Lawn Memorial Park.
